The Greatest Gift is an animated television series which plans to premiere in 2026.  The program is created and produced by USA-based company Cloud 10 Studios with founder, Tracey Dispensa, at the helm.  The series is being directed by Gary Trousdale, an American film director best known for directing films such as Disney's Beauty and the Beast.

The show follows Christmasaur™, an orange Tyrannosaurus Rex dinosaur glass ornament with purple, glittery stripes. Christmasaur (also goes by Chris) is a newer ornament to the Christmas tree and therefore is profoundly stressed about understanding the hierarchy and order. He is characterized by his good natured, enthusiastic optimism, but is also a little naive and can get confused around the tree.  The new ornament partners up with his new friends Lyle, an outgoing and confident gingerbread cookie ornament, and Kitty, a tiger ornament who is the oldest ornament on the tree.

Together they live in the family Christmas tree of a 5 year old girl, named Lexi McScott.  Lexi is an energetic ball of energy that loves, loves, LOVES Christmas!  It is not quite clear to her yet that Christmas ornaments are not toys, so she will occasionally take them down to dress them up, play with them, or re-arrange their positions on the tree according to her current whim.  The ornaments are a wonderful distraction for her active imagination as she impatiently awaits for Christmas Day.

While the many adventures center around the lives and concerns of the ornaments themselves "The Big Day" is always present in their minds and what preparations need to be attended to, like replacing burned out Christmas lights or repairing a favorite ornament before the family notices.

It is not an easy job being a Christmas ornament, but then again if it was, Christmas trees wouldn't be as special as they are.
