RHAEGAL

Rhaegal (pronounced RAY-gall) is Lexi’s house cat. She is a rescue cat from a local shelter, so her exact breed is not known, but the family assumes she is a mix of Siberian, Cornish Rex, and British Shorthair. This mix gives Rhaegal a blend of personalities from: playful, curious, adventurous, and fiercely loyal, which is a challenge for our ornament friends who come across as a threat to Rhaegal.

While being a typical cat that likes to nap in the sun and walk on computer keyboards when you're trying to work, Rhaegal knows that the Christmas tree ornaments are alive. Convinced that humans are idiots, because they actively prevent her from hunting them (at least when the humans are around), she is determined to catch them, nonetheless.

Rhaegal has been in the lower branches, where the ornaments are more durable and less interesting to her, but every so often she will catch an unwary ornament and woe unto them, filling the hearts of the other ornaments with dread.

While mice are the natural prey of cats, she is far more interested in the infuriating ornaments, but will chase Mouse in a pinch.
